I.  REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING COC TESDA (TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY):

 

A.  Make photocopy for the following certificates (2 each) :

  • Downloadable Certificate from Medical Clinic
  • Medical (1st page, Audiometry Report and Psychological Evaluation/ X-Ray/ VISUAL)
  • Seaman's Book (1st and 2nd page including all sea services/ arrival and departure)
  • Company service Record
  • SRC - Seafarer Registration Certificate

 

B.  4 passport size picture (with uniform).

C.  2 application forms (please use black ballpen).

D.  Request letter from the company (if crew onboard).

E.  For skills test - at least had 3 months sea services.

 

II.  REQUIREMENTS FOR PREPARATION OF NAC (NATIONAL ASSESSMENT CENTER):

  • STOT - Specialized Training in Oil Tanker (Offices - for tanker vessel only)
  • General Tanker Familiarization (Officers/Ratings - for tankers vessel only)
  • Shore-based fire fighting (Officers/Ratings - for tankers vessel only)
  • Basic Safety Course with PSSR (Officers/Ratings)
  • Proficiency Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (Officers/Ratings)
  • Advance Training in Fire Fighting (for Officers only)
  • Medical Emergency First Aid (for Officers only)
  • Photocopy of 1st page and 2nd page of New Seaman's Book
  • Photocopy of all entries from Old Seaman's Book
  • Services Record from present/previous company (must be stamped (same) to the Seaman's Book)
  • Qualified Seamen must have sea service minimum of 12 months, otherwise they will not qualify.

 

IMPORTANT: Due to the large volume of resumes received it is not possible to answer everyone individually. Resumes will be kept in file for a period of six months. You will only be contacted if a position becomes available that matches your criteria and qualifications.
